Greetings. Documenting December continues. I am managing to get the photos taken and stories written (or typed). Today I am sharing a photo I took on Saturday, December 5th. I used my iPhone with PicTapGo & LetterGlow apps to edit and place text on the photo. I then printed the photo out to a 6×8 using the Canon PRINT app. (Note the Canon printing app changed for me based on updates, but works just as good as before. Not many bells & whistles, but it gets the job done.)
I added some scallop trim picked up from the Target $1 spot, a flag to the middle of the page edged in gold ink, & the red stripe Recollections washi tape to the bottom. Again, simple, quick, yet tells an important story.
To the back of the page I added in a notecard picked up at the Target $1 spot as well. There’s been so much else going on in the world, that sometimes it’s hard to focus on the joy of the season. On a personal note and a grand scale, I always feel like its best to record what is real and how I am actually feeling. I used the notecard to journal some thoughts. I had this piece of gold star paper, which is the negative image from foiling with my new Minc mini. I liked how it color coordinated with the card and decided to make it look like a present on the page by adding some baker’s twine.
I was early to the Target $1 spot this year and grabbed a bunch of fun goodies. If you would like a chance at this selection pictured above (holiday notecards, kraft favor bags, stickers, chalkboard tags, scallop trim, & snowflake wooden diecuts) leave a comment on this post sharing how you are documenting December or any memory keeping endeavor you are working on now.
The giveaway will close Sunday, December 13th, Midnight EST. The giveaway is closed & a random winner selected. Thank you for stopping by and good luck!
